Target green in play on 1st whilst drainage works carried out. (updated 18 November at 06:16)

Unlike “Casablanca” and “The Road to Morocco”, you could not have scripted this. But in the words of our Captain Phil Matthews:

“Dave Wilton and Phil Matthews started solidly at this week’s 2017 SkyCaddie PGA Pro-Captain Challenge at the East Herts Golf Cub. After a disappointing end to the front nine some hard and honest words were shared over a cuppa at the half way house. Tears were shed, tea cups thrown and new targets were set. It proved to be a valuable exchange as Dave rattled in 3 birdies in the next 4 holes and skip came in with 9 points over the final 3 holes to secure a winning back 9 score of 24 which won the pair the 1st prize on count back. Lunch was a disgrace but frankly our Captain has had quite enough lunch this year and now needs to get bikini-ready for November, when our duo head to Morocco for the Grand Final”. The destination as it happens is Casablanca. Not sure whether Humphrey had a nickname but let’s hope it wasn’t “Bogey”!
